“How has Womanition benefited me? Let me count the ways I have been a part of the Womanition magazine for 10 years. The first year I was in the magazine, I did nothing, attended no meetings and questioned the benefit of it. I decided to try a 2nd year and commit to attending Dorothy's events. Wow! What a difference. Dorothy says....'show up and magic happens' and it's true. People like to do business with people they know like and trust. Through the years, I learned so much about the value of networking with other business women and it's all from Womanition groups. I have done business and I'm currently doing business with many of the Womanition women. Many of the Womanition women shop and consign at my store on a regular basis. I appreciate that so much. I was never comfortable speaking in front of people. Through attending meetings, I've become much more comfortable speaking in front of others. Events like the Biz Brigades and Aces Workshops have inspired and motivated me to be a better business woman. Dorothy Briggs inspires me everytime I see her. She never stops, she's always growing and trying new business ventures, I really admire that. In fact, she inspired me to start a charitable organization this year.
