Growing up, we often heard the fairytale of a knight in shining armor sweeping us off our feet, leading to a happily ever after. However, that fairytale neglected to mention that your knight might not have money. Whether you believed in that fairytale or the societal belief that the ‘man’ of the house is the one who makes the money and builds the family wealth, both are myths.
