Beyond Insurance: Empowering Businesses through Expertise and Care
My journey in the insurance industry began a few decades ago in a support role, a common path for many women at the time. However, I was determined to excel. I enrolled in night classes and, within a few short years, successfully completed both my Certified Insurance Professional and Chartered Insurance Broker degrees, marking a significant step in my career progression.
My commitment to learning extends beyond insurance. I have invested countless hours in finance, personal development, and employee engagement courses, and I hold an Entrepreneurial Mentorship Certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University. This diverse knowledge equips me to understand the many challenges that business owners face, from attracting and retaining top talent to managing expenses and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, all of which instill confidence in my ability to address their unique needs.
I could easily attribute my career to the necessity of earning a living, but fortunately, my work aligns with my passion—helping others. I love connecting with people from various walks of life and take pride in how proficient I am in my profession.
Insurance is a complex domain, and it’s surprising that around 95% of business owners never fully understand their insurance contracts. This realization underscores the importance of my role: a complete understanding of my clients’ businesses. I must ensure that their policies’ conditions, limitations, and exclusions won’t harm them in the event of a loss. Their business is their livelihood, and my mission is to safeguard it.
Every day in this field, I encounter new challenges and opportunities for learning. This constant growth fuels my passion even more. It’s not just a job; it’s a calling to support and protect the dreams and hard work of the people I serve, and I couldn’t be happier doing it.
Whether it’s a fledgling entrepreneur setting up their first home-based business or a long-standing corporation, I am fully dedicated to each client. Because of this, my clients trust that I genuinely care about their businesses and always have their best interests in mind.
