Every year a new magazine theme is chosen for the content, the look, and the layout, creating excitement for the readers and the Womanition women. The professions selected throughout the 120-page publication enjoy partial exclusivity, meaning, there will only be a select number of women in any given profession, creating a more diverse internal community, as well as an interesting read for the public.
Womanition provides events and venues for women from across Alberta to network with like-minded members. Womanition Networking is designed to encourage dialogue between members and inspire opportunities for networking and collaboration. There are never any membership fees or monthly dues. We are dedicated to helping women build relationships with each other. Grow yourself, Grow your business!
Promote you and your business with our on-line Business Briefs presentation, which includes a full copyright photo (if applicable) and your full-page, printable article designed to market your business. All it takes is a 350-word bio and your photo, and we do the rest. We will promote you through our social media presence and link to each other.
The Womanition Mentorship Program was established in 2013 with the objective to help new entrepreneurs grow their business and themselves. Mentors volunteer their time and work with protégés over a six-month period. Mentors are selected for each protégé, depending on the areas of business help they most require and where the mentor has a high level of expertise to offer.
Womanition BizBrigade was established in 2011 and has grown to become a bi-annual business conference, with sell-out crowds. This unique format provides the participants with a full day of learning, motivational keynote experts, a buffet lunch, and refreshments throughout the day.
Every year, Womanition women nominate other women across Alberta, deserving of recognition for their contributions in various categories. Award judges are not associated with Womanition, and they volunteer their time to read each of the nominee’s biographies and then vote to determine the winners in each of the categories.
